Event recap: Mt. Claremont January 2017
We kicked off the new year with a great turn out to our Mt Claremont meet. We also had lots of new faces, many of which became members and will be joining us on January 28th (4th Saturday of the month) at our Thornlie meet.
One of our committee members Warren offered to teach Imhotep, a game by an Australian designer Phil Walker-Harding. You might notice Warren sporting a lovely red vest as well as one in the background. The vests are worn by committee members and volunteers who are free to help out should you have any questions so if you’re new to our events be sure to keep an eye out, they aren’t hard to miss.
Jason, from one of our sponsors’ Tactics (check them out in the London Court basement in the city) both taught and hosted a Mysterium contest. We had about half a dozen teams enter. Below is a shot taken by one of our members Leece Smith of the winning team in action.
Our thanks again to Jason & Tactics for putting on the event and to Rob and Leece for the use of their photos.
