WABA’s 10th anniversay raffle
As mentioned in the WABACon 2017 announcement, March 2017 marks the tenth anniversary of the first arranged gathering of boardgame players to a monthly meet at Mt Claremont, which ultimately evolved into the formation of the West Australian Boardgaming Association (WABA).
WABACon is our formal celebration (get your tickets here) and will replace the normally scheduled games day at Mt Claremont in April, but we also intend to mark the occasion with something special for March.
Firstly, Amy will be providing a cake to be shared amongst all the attendees at Mt Claremont on 11th March. To have a piece, you just need to show up.

Thanks to Gameplay (gameplay.com.au), WABA have been able to get a great deal on a copy of Ticket to Ride: 10th Anniversary, which will be offered as a raffle prize on the day.
Entry is free, but to be eligible you must be a member by Saturday 11 March.
Note: Due to the approval process required under our Rules of Association, we will not be able to have new applications approved on 11 March. That means, if you are not currently a member (including previous members who have not renewed their membership), you need to get a membership application form from a Committee member at Mt Claremont on 11 February or at Thornlie on 25 February.
The raffle will be run using random.org until a valid current membership number is selected. Thus, every member has one entry in the draw.
You do not need to be present to win (although you will need to make yourself available somehow to collect your prize).
