WABA’s Position on COVID-19/Coronavirus

Dear WABA friend,

By now, you will be aware about the COVID-19 pandemic. The WABA 
committee are also aware of the situation. We are monitoring official 
medical and governmental advice so we can suitably and proportionately 
respond with appropriate precautions and care to keep members, 
attendees, and the general public safe, being neither blasé nor overly 
panicked.

We have put up a statement about WABA’s position regarding the 
COVID-19 pandemic. You can find it at

That post and thread will continue to be updated as the situation 
evolves.

It is quite possible that in the coming days, weeks, and months, 
governments may take further action or we might decide that it is 
necessary to temporarily stop holding WABA meets. Notice may come days 
or hours (rather than weeks) ahead.
